A Terrific Day!

The congregations of St. Paul’s (Winslow) and St. George’s (Holbrook) were so blessed to have been invited to participate in the Run For The Wall (RFTW) lunch, hosted by the American Legion in Holbrook on May 18.

This is our 4th year to participate, by greeting the riders and distributing Pocket Prayer Squares to each of them. It’s amazing how many riders carry their Pocket Prayer Squares from previous years. We distributed 400 squares this year! These folks ride for and in memory of those who cannot. Inspiring group of folks!

RFTW Mission Statement: to promote healing among all veterans and their families and friends; to call for an accounting of all Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action (POW/MIA); to honor the memories of those Killed in Action (KIA) from all wars; to support our military personnel all over the world.”
